The truth about nachos

Nachos is a great snack that we can eat everyday but most of us dont know how it came about. Nachos originated in the city of Piedrs Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and people say it was first made in a restaurant called the Victory Club. One day in 1943, the wives of ten to twelve U.S. soldiers  were in Piedras Negras  shopping , and arrived at the restaurant after it had closed for the day. The maître d',(person who assigns customers to tables) Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya, invented a new snack for them with what little he had available in the kitchen: tortillas and cheese. Anaya cut the tortillas into triangles, added  longhorn cheddar cheese, quickly heated them, and added sliced jalapeño peppers. He served the dish, calling it Nachos especiales which means "Special Nachos". It then spread throughout Texas. There are many VARIATIONS OF NACHOS. We all eat nachos and different foods and never take the time or think about how they came about. I found this interesting because nachos was not planned but just made from left overs in the kitchen. My favorite is the nachos supreme with everything which is lots of meat, cheese like cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and pepper. YUM.:P
