Damon Salvatore-what has got us so hypnotized?

Damon Salvatore is the hottest attraction on the vampire diaries that viewers can't seem to get enough of. I've been pondering on the fact over and over why Damon holds this certain area in all our hearts. Throughout the entire two seasons of the vampire diaries including yesterdays episode 'The Last Day' his character has surprised viewers.It seems that he could be killing a mouthful of people and we'd still love him. Why is  Damon Salvatore able to hold this attraction over us?Well, here's the answer--Damon Salvatore has made mistakes( huge mistakes) but his witty sarcastic attitude towards life and towards  Elena has us wondering what's behind all that. Curiosity is what kills us. Damon has a certain charm whether it's his mesmerizing eye thing he does or the fact that we're hoping that we can see the Damon that waited 145 for his lover Katherine ,the Damon that misses being human, the Damon that wasn't afraid to fully expose himself in hopes of not getting hurt. I know all of us are tuning in each episode wondering which Damon we'll see. Every time he does something cruel, each time he shows himself really again, we fall for him all over again and no matter what we're all game to mend a broken heart of a lost vampire.

I saw this video on tv and  I had to look it up. This video has a Kate look alike and its really funny.  Students at Will and Kate's school made a playful video about them.  Videos like these really shows the fascination people have for this royal couple. 

The royal wedding

The weeks leading up to William and Kate's wedding there has been a movie and many specials airing on tv about their lives.  Therefore, even if you wanted to get away from hearing about them it was almost impossible.  Even on our local news there was mention of them and they even gave the time it was airing on Channel 7.  All this tv coverage made me interested about the wedding and I was even considering waking up at 2a.m to watch it live. However, I decided to wait till the morning and watch the reruns.  When I saw the images of the wedding it was really beautiful. I loved watching the wedding :)
 

Vampire Diaries returns

The Vampire Diaries returned on the CW network with all new episodes.  The show left its viewers on the edge of their seats in the last episode.  The latest episode was about Klaus (born Niklaus) who is a vampire and werewolf in one, and he is one of The Originals. An orginal is the first vampires and all the other vampires orginated from them.  This episode showed many flashbacks of Klaus and his brother Elijah. The show was fun to watch.

My favorite soap :)

I have tried many soaps in my years of being alive and I must say that many of them are not good.  I hate soaps that leave you with a waxy feeling on your skin like zest soaps, palmolive soap and cheap mexican soap.

These soaps leave your skin sticky and you dont feel like you got a good bathe at all.  I hate using these soaps and only use them when I have to and when there is no other option.
The soaps I love are Dove and Olay.:):):):):):):):):)  These soaps do not leave that sticky feeling on your skin and they make your skin feel soft.  When using these you feel refreshed afterwards.  The Best soaps :) 

 

16 and pregnant

The new season of 16 and pregnant has began and its really good and full of entertainnment.  The show is about a group of young teens who get pregnant and each episode follows one teen mom to be during their nine months of pregnancy.  It then continues to follow them a couple weeks after they give birth.  The past two episodes started the season of with a bang.  The first episode was about a set of twins and one of the twin was pregnant.  It showed the twins struggling to stay close as sisters and the drama between the father of the baby and the other twin who was not pregnant.  


The other episode was about a girl named Jennifer and her boyfriend Josh dealing with having twin boys.  On the show her parents hates Josh and near the end Josh kicks Jennifer out of a car when they end up in a verbal fight.  The show really makes teens think and make them not want to have kids even more which is the point of the series. Its also fun to watch.  

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach was a show that aired on MTV a couple of years ago.  I loved watching this show because it showed a group of wealthy teenagers going to high school.  This show was filled with lots of drama, romance and its stars going through everyday problems.  The show's main star was Lauren Conrad who was shown as the good girl.  Its other stars were stephen colletti who was the boy that was caught in a love triangle with Lauren and Kirsten.   
Even though the show does not air on TV anymore I still watch it on the web and remember the entertainment I got from the show. 

SJC pageant

The SJC pageant was lots of fun and entertainment.  During the show the contestants did singing, dancing, and acting.  My favorite part of the show was the Dragon dance that was done by the male contestants. 
The dance was fun to watch.  The theme was The Chinese New Year the year of the rabbit.  Also another great part of the show was the talent section because the contestants displayed their talents and what they like to do. Overall the night was fun and full of entertainment.    

Great movie

This is one of my favorite movies.  The reason I love this movie is because its fun to watch. What could be more fun than to watch it rain free food????????????????????????? The movie was fun to watch and its a great family movie.     
Also I really like the 3D animation in the movie.

teen mom 2 reunion

Teen mom is one of my favorite shows.  It shows teen moms and their everyday struggle when having kids at a very young age.  In the reunion special that will air on tv tonight, all the teen moms will reunite and look back at the past season.  They will get a chance to explain some of their actions.
 

This special will also reunite them with Dr.Drew and will also give fans the chance to look at the babies. 

The game I always wanted

From I was in primary school I always wanted a Bop it game.  The game seemed fun and I got the chance to play it once.  After that I got hooked and for many years I wanted one, am sad to say that more years have passed and I still havent gotten the game yet.  The reason I love the game is because it is interactive and the game gives different commands to follow.  So when playing it you dont get bored and the game test your speed and how well you can follow instructions. Hopefully, someday soon I will get the game I always wanted. :)
  

Boy meets world

 Boy meets world is one of my favorite television shows because it shows the main characters Cory, Shawn and Topanga going through everyday challenges.  The show started from they are preteens, teens and young adults.  The show was fun to watch as it showed everyday issues and it also showed friendship between Cory and Shawn.  Cory and Shawn are best friends and it showed that even through fights and conflicts that people can remain best friends. The friendship between them was one of the main reasons I loved watching the show.
  

To put you in the Easter mood

There is a new movie that is coming out soon and the name of the movies is Hop.  The movie will come out on April 1st in the US but we all know that we as Belizeans will buy it on fake DVD and enjoy it in the comfort of our homes.  I saw this movie advertise on TV and it really looks funny.The movie is about the Easter's bunny teenage son and instead of taking over the family business he wants to be in a band and play music.

Easter eggs and baskets

I remember when I was younger every year around Easter time I used to get a wonderful Easter basket. These Easter baskets was filled with chocolates, sweets, biscuits, little Easter eggs, a Easter rabbit teddy bear and other treats like peeps.   I miss getting these Easter baskets.  Many think when you get older you wont want one but the truth is you still do. I mean why not????????????? These baskets are filled with delicious snacks to eat.  At any any age people still like chocolates and snacks to eat.  This can be seen because now there is also Easter baskets for adults as well.

Easter holiday

When will it be holiday time? I feel like easter is taking forever to come. When it does come I will be so happy. During my vacation time I hope I get to go to Chetumal.  The reason I want to go there is to buy some Pollo Brujo.  Pollo Brujo is grilled chicken with tortillas and it also comes with purple onion.  The chicken also comes with a tomato paste type pepper sauce.  This chicken is so good and taste different than all the types of chicken that is sold in Belize.

Ice cream with coffee

I have become obessed with coffee and ice cream drinks. It doesnt matter what kind it is I will drink it.  The more ice cream flavors the better.  Everyday I find myself wanting one of these nice drinks :P   

Accounting trip

On friday the two accounting classes went on a educational trip to Spanish Lookout.  We went to Running W meats, Western Dairies and Quality Poultry. 

The trip was very fun as I enjoyed going to Westen Dairies the most because I got to buy ice cream and I also bought two packs of cheese. 

 Everyone laughed at me for this purchase. Then I enjoyed my time eating their nice pizza. 

I wish I brought my ice box so I could have purchased some meats from Running W because the meat is cheap and good.

For example the ground beef is only $3.05 while at the city it can cost up to $7. 

Therefore, it was a great trip :)    

TEENAGE LOVE STORIES WHAT'S THE ATTRACTION!?

Teenage love stories seem to be taking over the media whether its through the box office, merchandise or books.Producers and writers seem to be writing this stuff as they go along with the one and only love triangles but my questions why can't we get enough of it. I mean what has us addicted to these fantasy characters? Let see through example. What is one of the most popular money ranking blood sucking teenage stalking love story ever? you heard it here the one and only triangle of a regular teenage girl in love what would seem a grotesque heartless vampire and an old family friend who unknowingly is the exact reincarnation of the old legions of the classic werewolfs that protect their land from 'bloodsuckers'.

Beka Lamb

At first I did not like Beka Lamb when I first read it in high school but after reading it another time after I realized that its a good book. So even though sometimes it was boring to read. It did have a great message as it showed us we should not lie and that we should be aware that all our actions have consequences. So I recommend that everyone read it at least once. Everyone should support Belizean writers.

Biting nails as a habit

Many people bite their nails everyday as a nasty habit and I have noticed that I am one of them.   A person many times start biting his finger nails when he or she is in stress, feeling boredom, hunger or in nervousness and wants to get rid of these by biting their nails. It can also be caused due to mental, emotional or physical disorder. I know that I bite my nails when am nervous, and when am bored. However, sometimes I do it because am already accustomed to doing it and I bite my nails without even realizing sometimes.  I found ways that I can stop this habit. Some ways are :we can try to avoid nail biting by holding any object or thing that keeps your hands busy whenever you feel like biting. Girls can use nail paints to avoid the habit or you can apply products made to resist nail biting by applying it on your nails. These products leave a  bad taste in your mouth whenever you bite nails. So whenever you try to bite your nails you will remember not to bite. You can also put a stretchy band around your wrist which will constantly reminds you of your resolution. I have tried putting nail polish on my nails but this does not work for me I still continue biting my nails but maybe it will work for others. So everyone break this nasty habit.

Why is it that some boys dont want to learn how to cook??????????

For a long time boys around me do not even want to try and learn how to cook. A good example is my cousin and he refuses to cook and the closest thing he does to cooking is making a sandwich.  He insists that only girls need to learn how to cook.  That whole idea is totally wrong, everyone needs to learn how to cook something atleast because cooking is a skill and without it we wouldnt have any food to eat.  Also when guys know how to cook it will increase their chances of getting a girlfriend because when girls find out you cook they will find that attractive. Hint guys so listen up and learn how to cook.

Eat and more eat

Eat Pray Love is a great movie that I was watching today and the day before. Everyone should watch this movie. My favorite part of  the movie is when Julia Roberts character goes to eat pizza in Italy.  I wish someday I can travel to different places like the character and try new foods and experience new cultures. 


This movie makes me want to eat pizza and go all the way to Italy to eat pasta. The real pasta with freshly made noodles and try all the other dishes. This is a great movie to watch if your eating because if your not you will want to. The movie also shows the importance of prayer in your life and also finding love. 
Most of all I love this movie for the food it shows in it and it also sends out a good message about hope and love. Also for all of you who prefer reading there is also the EAT PRAY LOVE book.

I recently saw Lady Gaga's new video for her new song born this way and at first I thought the video was really weird as she had a womb in the back ground. Also in the first few seconds of the song she appeared to be being born from out of a strange creature.  I was confused about the video but when I continued watching it and really listened to the song, I realized that it had a good message. The message of the song is to be yourself and that we are all different and we should not judge each other.  I like that Lady Gaga is telling the young fans she influences to accept themselves as well as others.  This song is really up beat and other people should give the song a try and listen to the positive message.

Book review

The summer I turned pretty is about a girl who is called Belly. She has been going to her mother's friend house every summer since she was a little girl. There’s the swimming pool at night, the private stretch of sandy beach  and  two boys.There is  Conrad who she’s been in love with forever and Jeremiah, his younger brother the only one who’s ever really paid her any attention. However, this summer is different because puberty has made her more attractive to them. I love this book because it shows a young girl going through changes in her life. I related to this book because everyone can experience a time in their life when they liked someone but the same feelings were not returned. This shows the main character known as Belly not knowing how to address the feelings she has for Conrad.  I think this is a great book for young girls because everyone can relate to it and the book is not boring. I enjoyed every chapter of the book because it had real life situations we all go through in life.    

Gothic style

Is it just me or is skeletons and black fashion trends not just for goths and emo anymore?! I've been noticing a great amount of people wearing skulls, high top black boots,converses and shirts with quotes like ''I HAVE ISSUES'' this type of emo inspired style seems to be expanding all over internationally into stores everywhere.Many parents though are raising their eyebrows at this new trend for the following reasons
1. EMO type styles are not just a fashion statement but reflect on the their teenagers mood. They feel that their child might have some issues that they are not being told about and feel afraid that their child might be depressed. Remember the way you dress reflects your personality and is a huge way of self expression.
2.Many parents feel that wearing these type of black gloomy outfits and jewelry are making them slip away from god and making them get encouraged by others to listen devil music. 
However, I love this fashion trend and the different jewelry because they are cute and fun to wear.

My dream dog

 The teacup Yorkshire is my dream pet because it is very small in size and most of them only weigh 2 pounds or bigger. I want one because I will be able to carry it around everywhere and am not a fan of big dogs. My dream pet is very small and does not grow big in size.  One of the main reasons I want a teacup Yorkshire is they can actually fit inside a teacup.:p loll Here is a pic of that.:)
These are sooooooooooooo cute and I hope I get one even if its a couple years from now. So if you want to know what is the cutest dog, look no further the teacup Yorkshire is the best. Their tiny size is the best thing about them in my opinion. If I had one I would always be carrying them around and dress it in cute clothes.
